Universal Test Machine Stands
Portable, adjustable height, stands are available
for all FTU chamber models. They support the chamber
without transferring weight to your testing machine.
Standard Universal Test Machine stands are furnished with an 18 inch, electrically
actuated, lift system, four swivel casters with locks, and an
all welded frame. Four types of stands are available
Support Stand Arrangements :
Both chambers shown have a Style 1 Stand, a "Rear Loading Low Profile" with
an 18 inch stoke electric lift. Rear Loading Low Profile, (Style
1) stands are normally furnished for use with table-top or small
machines with a raised base where there is clearance for the machine
legs to slide underneath.
Rear Loading Straddle (Style 2) stands are recommended for machines with no ground clearance or
where the chamber will be used with several different machines.

Rear Loading Counter Balance (Style 3) stands are usually specified
for heavy chambers and systems fitted with mechanical cooling.
Where mechanical cooling is specified, the refrigeration package
